I had a great, quiet stay in the mountains at Timber Ridge Resort By 101 Great Escapes. The property was very secluded up in the hills above Mammoth, offering stunning views and a cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The bed was a bit small and there wasn't much to do if you weren't in the mood for seclusion. It would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture too.

Lovely views, clean and tidy apartment, great for staying with mates. Pool looked great, nice and quiet, brilliant having your own lodge in the mountains!! 2hr drive to Yosemite valley but great scenery throughout. The townhome was very clean and ready. All rooms were tidy and there was enough towels for the entire stay. The house was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed the kitchen and the living room. Extra beds in the attic. This well-equipped, two-story, 2-bedroom apartment was very comfortable and could easily accommodate 6-8 people. The scenery behind the resort is beautiful. Quiet place with all the amenities. The place was a little difficult to locate at the beginning but it turned out to be a 5 minute drive to downtown Mammoth Lakes.
Felt cosy, no complaints whatsoever.
